Can one person save a marriage…?

She sat sobbing on the couch as he pulled out of the driveway. The two little girls were broken. And so, it seemed, was their lives.

As he drove away from the place he had called home for nearly 10 years, he thought to himself “This is a good thing. It’s best for everybody”. Trying to placate his conscience riddled with affairs and secret substance addiction.

Sounds like something out of a fiction novel. It’s not. It happened to us. All of it. In all its gory detail

Hey, we’re Ren & Adelé. We’re guessing that you’ve arrived here because your marriage isn’t what you hoped it would be.

Neither was ours. Sheesh, that’s the understatement of the century!

We’re RIDICULOUSLY happily married. No really, we’ll make you sick we’re so in love. And we’re 14 years into our marriage.

We are passionate about marriage and believe that MOST marriages that end in divorce can be saved, no matter how dire the circumstances.

“That’s fine for you guys…you don’t know what we’ve been through” I hear you say. Don’t be so sure.

Our shopping list of previous disasters include (but are not limited to) addiction, infidelity, lying, manipulation, control, co-dependence, super-selfishness and separation…to name but a few.

Our story ain’t pretty, but the ending is amazing! We’d love to share our story and journey with you and point you in the direction that helped us find restoration, love and fulfilment in our marriage.

We really, really shouldn’t be together.

Our story is a modern-day miracle.
